The study of the generation and control of air pollutants can be termed air pollution engineering and is the subject of this book. Our goal here is to present a rigorous and fundamental analysis of the production of air pollutants and their control. The book is intended for use at the senior or first-year graduate level in chemical, civil, environmental, and mechanical engineering curricula.
